Health is Wealth.. or is it?

as kids, we were taught that we must eat lots of fruit and vegetables so that we would be healthy...

horizontally challenged people were called healthy and thin are malnourished.. wel, they've debunked the HC being healthy already..

another memory in those days is the mgical slumbook, to where you put your motto in life..

people would put it..

Health is really Wealth and i could not contest to that idea but what do we see on foods of today..??

dehydrated noodles that have lots of lipids and preservatives and not to mention sodium for that matter.

breads turnd biscuits that are really small anfd others to even have no taste.

canned goods packed ith lots of preservatives and salt.

the lifestyle brought about by these foods become alarming to the society. Yes, they are indeed foods for the hasty people who have to be in the office and have no time to cook. but it is too disturbing that people already take them on a daily basis.

our body cannot afford to have these "nutrients" everyday. it will malfunction in one term or another..

and as you can see, most organic products have been already Genetically Modified. making them vulnerable to be just the taste foods.. just the taste, no nutrients..

pesticide being another problem to these items. you cannot be sure and convicted if the food your serving or taking is really that safe..

that's what the provinces have an edge on. they could have grown their own fruits and veggies straight from their backyard or something. a more organic approach to how they should be..

advertisments now promote heal;thy living but how it protrudes to society is something diferent. although they exist in the scene, we cannot neglect also the existence of the other side in the same line of exposure...

knowing these things promote good living, looks like something to be celebrating about, but no. you may have these semingly more nutritious and safer foods with a whooping price..

you can seemingly curse people manufacturing them with the price they are charging with their items. well, nothing comes free in this world..

and let me go back... Health is wealth?? well, it's a big struggle..

HEALTH IS REALLY WEALTH BUT YOU HAVE TO BE WEALTHY TO BE HEALTY...
