Some random thoughts .. WARNING: arrows shoot at random...
We always limit our capabilities, either with forces within or outside of our concerns or control. We’ve been blaming different people unto how we were performing but the blame would only be falling unto us. Things would always be slightly away from what we usually expect, but it’s up to us unto what we would be doing to that swerved section of our ideas. The initiative would always have to come from us; you can’t expect anyone to do things but yourself. You may even not be recognized for the sacrifices that you have done, you may not be even be thanked at least but the reward is inside. after all, you do not just do things for recognition and if you do, become a politician.
We may have experienced pain and been hurt with things we want to achieve but that is no reason for us to stop by and weep all the days of our lives, time stops for no one and it would not certainly exclude you from that. I myself have experience pain, pain that I never even imagine I would surpass. Anticipating these pains would be dreadful but outshining them, while we reminisce, is truly gratifying. Pain would always be weakness leaving the body, letting you emerge into something different, something stronger, something anew.
Ledges of life would always be present, it limits you from doing things you wanted to do. But the ledge is just a dead end for a person who wants to stop. Things stop when you decide to stop and it persists when you forget to cease. The ledge determines your personality; it either stops you or challenges you. Most people would just stop and call it a day. Why let the ledge limit you when you can limit the ledge? Dead ends are dead ends because you consider them one. Why weep and decide to return when I can jump off the ledge and start a new exciting adventure..?
I have exceeded from what I think was my limit, the line was pushed through far enough that the horizon becomes the latter. I’ve exerted efforts rather than being timid and settling for something I do not deserve, we all deserve something better. The choice is ours, most choose indifferent.
I can join different competitions, I can win a lot of them but the greatest critique would be I. If I satisfied myself or not, I have to adjust. A champion could repeat joining the competition he won until he loses and then his resume would pile up… Truly greatness is not measured by what you achieve but by what you’ve overcome…
